1. Application and authority

The person applying confirms they are authorised to represent the business and that the information supplied is complete and accurate. We may request clarification or evidence and approve, reject or keep an application pending.

Approval does not guarantee enquiries, bookings, revenue, ranking or continued listing.

2. Business classification

Dare Driver assigns the applicable classification: Authorised Dare Driver Partner or Verified on Dare Rentals. Official Dare Driver locations are internal and cannot be obtained through the public form.

Partner status requires express approval and may require a separate brand agreement. There is no territorial exclusivity or right to use a trade mark unless recorded in a signed Dare Driver agreement.

3. Independent operation

Other than an official location, the business operates on its own account and is responsible for its staff, taxes, licences, agreements, payments, bonds, refunds, insurance, vehicles, assistance and customer service. Listing does not create employment, agency, partnership or franchise.

4. Ongoing requirements

The business must maintain a valid ABN and contact details, authority to rent each vehicle, applicable registrations and permissions, insurance suitable for the declared commercial use, reasonable maintenance, and compliance with laws in every state or territory where it operates.

It must promptly tell us about expiry, suspension, a relevant incident, ownership change or anything that makes an earlier statement inaccurate.

5. Listings and availability

The business warrants that prices, bonds, excesses, kilometres, images, location, features and availability are not false or misleading. It must update or pause unavailable vehicles and disclose material charges or restrictions before contracting.

It must not list vehicles it does not lawfully control or use images without permission.

6. Verification and review

We may review public information, request reasonable evidence and re-check a business or vehicle. The business authorises these checks and must cooperate honestly.

We may reject, hide or remove a listing, badge or account for inaccurate information, serious complaints, safety concerns, non-response or breach. Where reasonable, we will explain the reason and allow relevant information to be provided.

7. Enquiries and privacy

Enquiries go directly to the business. It must use personal information only to respond, administer a potential booking, comply with law and for compatible purposes disclosed to the customer. It must protect the information, limit access and comply with applicable privacy and marketing rules.

It must not sell customer data or add people to unsolicited campaigns without a valid basis.

8. Agreements and consumers

The business must provide clear terms before payment and comply with the Australian Consumer Law, including consumer guarantees and rules about misleading information and unfair contract terms. Its terms must not present Dare Rentals as responsible for the rental contract where it is not.

9. Branding and content

The business retains its content and grants Dare Driver Pty Ltd a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence, revocable when the listing is removed, to host it, adapt it to the platform format, display it and promote the listing.

Only an expressly authorised Partner may use Dare Driver branding and only under the applicable guidelines and agreements. Marketplace businesses retain their own brand and must not imply they are an official location.

10. Fees and future commercial terms

At present, any fee, commission or additional service must be expressly agreed before it applies. We will not impose retrospective fees. Future commercial arrangements may be recorded in a separate agreement.

11. Responsibility and termination

Each party remains responsible for its own acts and obligations. Nothing excludes liabilities or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, safety, fraud or customer risk; a business may request removal of its listings and must complete outstanding customer obligations.

12. Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms for future applications or use. If a change materially affects an approved business, we will give reasonable notice before requiring fresh acceptance. Queensland law applies.
